Sep. 2nd, 2004 09:37 pmDear Junior,
I have been watching you closely. I must hand it to you, you had Botox, or a damn fine makeup artist today, but you are looking better. Please send your secret formula over to Kerry. Although I dig him in a very special way, he is an unfortunate looking man.
I desperately want to bitch slap your ass every time I see you or hear you on TV. I am tired of you talking about how Kerry opposes tax cuts. You have heard him repeatedly say that he opposes tax cuts for the top 2% of the wealth, not for everyone else.
I am disgusted that you and your lemmings assume that your party is the only party with good family values. Liberals have strong family values. We love our children like everyone else. We love them so much that we can get past the idea that there is the possibility that we cannot stop them from having sex no matter what we tell them, teach them, and try to protect them. We love them so much, that we think they should not have to die for their indescretions and do not want them to destroy their future. For those reasons, we think that our youth should have access to sex education and we all need to look into the option of birth control.
AND regarding values:
Reuters) - Halliburton Co., the world's No. 2 oilfield services company, said an internal probe found information suggesting that members of a consortium it helps lead considered bribing Nigerian officials to win business a decade ago. Halliburton, which is also fighting accusations it overcharged on contracts in Iraq and Afghanistan and got some of them through political pull, said there was no indication Vice President Dick Cheney, who ran the company from 1995-2000, knew of improper activity
The right implies that others have no morals, but there are tons of conservatives that have extramerital affairs, multiple marriages, drug addictions, and um.. wasn't there something about taking a wife into sex clubs?
There is nothing wrong with capitalism. It is one of the main driving forces in this country and the reason we are so financially successful. Greed breeds progress. But there is no reason that we cannot be capitalists and still care about protecting our environment as well. How much is enough?
I cannot even say that I think the war was all wrong. I have been watching the issues with Afganastan and Iraq for years. We fucked them last time when we left them high and dry because the UN wouldn't sanction any more action. I can appreciate that Saddam is out of power. He is a sick man. I cannot for half a second look at your smug lying face and beleive for a second you had a single altruistic motive for wanting this. You are an evil little troll.
Let's talk about flip flopping for a little bit.
You point out that Kerry voted for the war then against spending. He voted for the war based on your lies. He is just not willing to let you drive the deficit anymore by just giving you an ungodly amount of money to trash with no decent plan for how to spend it .. and by the way
BUSH SPOKESMAN DENIES NEED FOR ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE REST OF 2004... "We do not anticipate requesting supplemental funding for '04" [White House Budget Director Joshua Bolton, 2/2/04]
...BUSH REQUESTS ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR IRAQ FOR 2004 "I am requesting that Congress establish a $25 billion contingency reserve fund for the coming fiscal year to meet all commitments to our troops." [President Bush, Statement by President, 5/5/04]
How dare you start naming all this shit you are going to do for us. You talked about this giant sum of money you were going to give to fight AIDS in America and abroad.
*crickets chirping*
You continually talk about these plans you have for education, but you continually fuck it up or forget that you were supposed to be doing something.
Bush has continually broken his 2000 campaign promise to increase Pell Grant awards to $5,100, leaving needy college students without the resources they need to pay for skyrocketing tuition costs. [www.ed.gov; www.nea.org; The Wallace Foundation, www.wallacefoundation.org; GAO, May 2003; Center for Education Policy, May 2004 Education Week, 1/7/04] Bush has fallen $27 billion short of funding No Child Left Behind and has allowed one-third of American students to drop out of high school. He has weakened accountability in high schools and pushed out low-achieving students.
You talk about your plans for Health care. I am not even going to go into how seriously you fucked up the public healthcare by privitization in Texas while you were governor here, but: The number of uninsured has swelled under Bush by 5.2 million to a total of 45.0 million, 15.6 percent of the total population. Since 2000, the percentage of Americans with health coverage through their job has dropped 3.2 percent to just 60.4 percent. [Census Bureau, Current Population Reports]
Although Bush signed his Medicare bill in December 2003, seniors will not see cheaper prescription prices when it is implemented in 2006, because it does nothing to control the rising cost of drugs. According to Consumers Union, “most beneficiaries will face higher out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs after full implementation, despite the benefit.” [Consumers Union, 11/17/03]
I will give you credit. You know enough to have some self depricating humor. Helps to admit you are an assface when it is apparent that you are. Is a lovely defence tool.

Sep. 2nd, 2004 10:55 pm"Back in 2000 a Republican friend warned me that if I voted for Al Gore and he won, the stock market would tank, we'd lose millions of jobs, and our military would be totally overstretched.
You know what? I did vote for Gore, he did win, and I'll be damned if all those things didn't come true!"
