Flying Ninja Cd Shards

I called my sister the other night to tell her I was leaving work late. When she picked up the line, I didn't get a, "Hello." I heard, "Your son!....."

Our brand spanking new computer was being used by Connor with his new 5th Grade Clue Finders CD that he recieved for his birthday. He had gotten to play it the day before. That was the only time. Fini was coming down the stairs when she heard a loud POP like a glass breaking. Connor looked guilty and when they opened the cd drive, the shards of cd began to fall out. She was not convinced by his story that he wasn't jamming it in or doing something odd.

I told her that he looked guilty because he was using the brand new computer when it broke. Maybe he thought he did something wrong. I told her Connor and I watched a MythBusters show where they did a piece on this exact same thing. She thought that was a little far fetched. I thought she was hatching a plan to shatter Connor into matching shards.

We replaced the cd drive when we bought a new extra one for our cd burning needs and noone was hurt. This morning, Connor got to get back on the computer.
