Plans

I am looking forward to this weekend.  My guttyworks hurt, but tomorrow Robert, and I are taking Connor and his friend, Alex to the Houston Museum of Natural Science  to see the movie at the planetarium on Black Holes


They also have a pretty good laser show for the Dark Side of The Moon. Won't be seeing that tomorrow, but I should take Connor back there for it. He really dug it. 


I have about an inch of incredibly gray roots and I am going to get that taken care of. I hate sitting there for 2 hours, but I like having my hair brown and not gray. 

I think Saturday night, we are meeting my parents for a birthday dinner for me. My birthday is the 24th. I will be 36. I don't feel 36 (well, usually. I am feeling it now, but that is just because the girlie bits are hurting).

I am looking forward to doing some cleaning in my house. I haven't felt like doing much except hide under the blankets since it has been so cold, but we are going back up in the 50's before we drop back to freezing again next week.

Okay. Houston had ice on the roads Wednesday. Not a huge deal to a lot of people, but no one down here can drive right anyway, let alone in ice. I went to work. Most of the office went  to work. A few people came later in the morning, but we came. On Tuesday, when there was no ice, we had 2 employees call in and say "There is slush on the ground. We won't be coming in." Their friend that lives by them came. A smarter person, upon finding that out, would have at least said, The slush melted. Be right there." But no. Not these two. You know they didn't come into work on Wednesday when there was actually  some ice in the city. I am a bit annoyed that they get two paid days off while the rest of us came. Also, their department is insanely busy. It will take them a week to catch up. 

Tiffany and I both sent the following picture to their boss with a snicker.
