Went out with Erica, Paul, and their friends to Flying Saucer downtown. Tried a dark beer (cannot recall the name brown nut something or other) and it was chocolaty and sweet. I had a slice of goat cheese pizza (after realizing there was nothing really healthy on the menu and I had only one breakfast taco yesterday) and it was AMAZING.

Erica's friends are interesting and charming. There were the McDuffy brothers who were nothing alike, but both neat in their own way.

Isaac was there, too, but I have no photos of him.

Paul flattened a nickel on the train tracks going along Main Street .

We left and met the brothers at Late Night Pie. Smelled like dirty hobo ass covered in bad pizza. I will not be eating there, but the Shiner Black was tasty. The murals were cool.

Ben was throwing up slices on tomatoes to catch in his mouth, unsuccessfully I might add.

It was a fun evening and I am glad I went.

I watched an absolutely fascinating documentary about an absolutely fascinating woman.

A Stitch In Time details the life of Ellen Quinlan Donnelly Reed, first female self-made millionaire. Not only was she an absolute visionary, a style icon, but she was impressively generous.

She also made military uniforms for men and women and for women factory workers (those nifty, stylish uniforms from the 40’s you see in pictures? Nelly Don fashion!)

I got this from the above linked web site. If you have the documentary channel, you should definitely set this up to be recorded.

This documentary should be a must see for anyone that is an employer or in management for how treating your employees well is beneficial to the business.

Looking at her dresses, I recognized her amazing style from all the movies, television shows, and photos from that era.
