Tuesday evening, Wiggington got into bed with me like she usually does. She lays down by my feet and reaches out her paws and rests them on my leg. If I try to stroke her, she rolls over on her back and bites me. If I move my legs, she adjusts so that her feet are touching me.
Lena (the fat Siamese) jumped up in the bed and snuggled into my armpit to go to sleep. Wiggy saw that, and decided to curl up behind her and snuggle at my hip.
The next morning I got up at 4:30 and was leaving the house at 5:30. I stopped to check my email. Wiggy, who is normally a late sleeper, got up to greet me. She squeaked to let me know she was around. When I bent down to touch her, she didn't run off, and let me pet her without being bitten. Very sweet
This morning, I had to drop her off at the vet for declawing and spaying. Poor baby. She sounded so woeful in the carrier in the car. Before I took her inside, I took her out of the carrier for a cuddle. At that moment a trash truck pulled up and picked up a dumpster and emptied it. So much noise! Wiggy was spazzing and shaking. Great. I let her get terried, then handed her over to the vet for TWO surgeries, and abandoned her for 2-3 days. Poor little kitty.
Last night, I went to a new temple, Ligmencha Institute, to try it out. I LOVED it. I prefer it to Dawn Mountain. I felt much more welcome.
By the time I arrived home, the teacher had already sent me an email saying he was glad to have met me and saying he was looking forward to talking and getting to know me. Very nice . I shall go back next Wednesday.
Also, Banana tree is producing bananas again. Woot
