The brave little cook tries again
Aug. 28th, 2008 07:40 pmThe other day, I decided I wanted chicken and dumplings (well, with fake chicken). I had to call my friend Tiffany's mother to ask how. Unfortunately, I didn't have any bisquick and stuff, so I used canned biscuits. It was okay. Everything was tasty until I cooked it down too much and it turned out a bit too salty. When I do this again, I am certainly not using canned biscuits for the dumplings. I suspected they weren't going to be that good when I did it.
Tonight I decided to do something with my Soyrizo in the fridge.

I didn't have everything I wanted. I would have preferred to have this with potatoes and tortillas, but this was nice, too. (Egg, Soyrizo, tomatoes, onion)
Soyrizo is great. It tastes like Chorizo, but without all the nauseating grease.

Every time I make my sad little attempt at cooking I am a little closer to being a decent cook. I picture a little blue skill meter above my head a la SIMS
