Calling Juan

I tried to use the voice command feature on my phone to call Juan. It didn't recognize it. It also didn't recognize Jew-ahn, John (because I don't have one in my phone book) or Gone.

She wanted me to make a post and let people know that she knows people are trying to contact her and she just cannot get around to dealing with responding right now. She appreciates it.

He hates having his photo taken, but I think he is beautiful, so I always want to take it. I usually have to sneak it. My cell phone takes crappy pics, but it is the best way to catch him.

Connor's Brown Belt Test

I neglected to post about Connor's belt test December 13th. He did beautifully and is now a brown belt and has the title of Jah Ddi. One more test and he will be a brown belt/black strip in Kuk Sool Wan and will be a Dahn Boh Nim (literally "black belt candidate). From there, he will start taking these freakishly long tests and in about 18 months to 2 years, will be a black belt (Jo Kyo Nim "instructor in training").

Connor does a spin kick to break boards at the end of his test. Luckily, this time, no one got hurt.

I want

Karen and I went to eat dinner at Onesameal last night (nom nom nom num yummy!!!). the tzatziki  was amazing (especially with sesame bread)

and then to Sig's Lagoon to pick up a couple of gifties. Love this store.  They have some really amazing vinyl there, too. I saw this wooden sign. I want!

Cannot imagine where in my house I would hang such a sign, but I like it.
