Things that are good.

sereneorangeConnor worked hard and got good grades.He stayed home for two days all by himself and did exactly as he was told. He is growing up and trying to be responsible and trustworthy. I am a lucky mother.
My brother called to thank us for his birthday gift that arrived yesterday. He let me know that the bail bondsman called and the bounty hunter found Davey. He is going to prison, for about 5 years longer than he would have had he gone to court when he was supposed to. However, it sure beats the alternative and we and my brother can sleep a little easier knowing he is alive. Hopefully those extra 5 years will help him get and stay clean when he gets out. So Davey is alive. That is good.
I spent Thanksgiving with my sister, son, and parents. We put up the xmas tree at their house. We cooked a lot of food and took only 30 minutes to eat it as usual. I was fairly full on raw vegitables by the time we got to dinner and only about half of the veggies I put in my mouth had any dip on them, so I didn't stray that far from the diet. I ate minimal potatoes, stuffing that was vegitarian, very little casserole (which was as low fat as we could get it anyway), and one tiny roll. Very starchy, but small servings. No pie. Go me! Sticking to a diet on Thanksgiving is good.
I have interesting news about work. Some of it is upsetting to me, but there is possibly a really good opportunity that I can take advantage of. I shall see how this plays out. That is a good thing. This would have never happened with my old job at Bank One/ Chase. I have a great job that I honestly love and people that I love to work with. That is good.
I like Geekalicious. That is good.
I am for the most part, happy and healthy, and that is very good. I have great family and friends. I have a good job that gives me little to no stress at all. I am a very lucky girl.
