you're working off the premise that the cat is gay because the guy gets purrs from him all the time and
the woman never gets any purrs from him. You get purrs from him occasionally though, so based on your postulation, you must possess some man-like qualities for Hobodhi to be attracted to, thus eliciting the occasional purr from him.
