I am not doing it right. I have had an upset stomach for the last 2 days and haven't had much of an appetite. So I have barely eaten. Except there is a specific amount I am supposed to be eating. I am going to end up screwing up my metabolism this way and messing it all up.

On the upside, it is working right now because I am down by another 4 pounds. Total amount lost since November 10th is 24 lbs. So just one day under 3 weeks. Not too shabby.

I am finally starting to see a pleasing difference in my reflection

congrats on the success!!

I've shed about 15 pounds since I started my diet.
It's slow going, but like you say, starting to see a pleasing difference!

i am so very much addicted to progress pictures. i go to the weight watchers and biggest loser web pages and just look at the before and after pictures.

i wish i could find more websites that had that sort of thing.

question, in case i missed an earlier post,
what "diet" are you on? is it just a change in
proportions, substance, or one of those "fad" things?

i like that you recognize the potential for the metabolic haywire phenomenon, not many people recognize that, and it really has a lot to do with success.

basically it is weight watchers. I have a free program on my palm and I track on that. I also have database of various foods, restraunt foods, and the points, and there is a point calculator so you can look at the food labels and figure it out, too. you put in how much you wiegh, and it tells you how many points to eat. WEeight Watchers is basically the diabetic diet without saying, don't eat suger or carbs

i used to weigh 198!

that's not skinny!

and now i'm 169 but i got's me some thick hips and thighs.

the picture is a little distorted cause i'm sitting down and my pants are bunching up but you get the idea :)

what's really messed up is when i was in highschool i weighed 140-145 and thought i was HUGE and now that's my goal. stupid teenage problems.
