Stormy Weather

sereneorangeI woke up this morning at 4 AM (went to bed early after an industry schmoozefest last night) and was enjoying the sound of the storm. I was all warm and snuggly comfy in my bed then BOOM BOOM BOOM! Transformers started blowing. Lights out. Every now and then, they would try to work again and BOOM!
I got up and got ready for work in the dark. Nothing like doing your makeup by candlelight.
I woke poor Con up at 6 when I was leaving.
I went out for a wake up walk around 9 AM or so and it was downright nippy outside. Silly weather.
The lights were out down Beechnut and down South Rice. Lucky sister woke up to the power coming back on.
