While I love orange

and I like funky.... this was just a No.
I couldn't decide on a color, so I asked my sister to. Thrilled to have something on my hands besides the dark inky blue I was wearing last week, she brought me three colors. 2 safe colors and a kind of golden curry color. I was feeling funky, so I gave it a go.

About 45 minutes later, I looked at my hands and it really sunk it that I had freaking orange nail polish on. I took it off as soon as I walked in the door to the house. This would only be appropriate if I was dancing on the pole tonight.
Karen bought some mung beans and some adzuki beans and thought to make something with them today. We didn't think we had vegetables, but we had onions, broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and squash. So karen threw it together in the slow cooker and when we came home, there was a delicious bean and veggie soup. All full of healthy goodness, and fat free.
Sill... I want something bad for me. I will have a glass of coke.
I am down 8 lbs in the past week and a half. I am not expecting that I can keep that up, but I will keep up the healthy eating I have been doing and I suspect I will be able to still lose. I do feel much better lately, and I am only mildly cranky about the detox. I am sure that is because I have been allowing myself a small amount of sugar and caffeine. If I had none, I would probably be cursing my bosses out and cracking skulls.
So, lesson learned. No orange.
