Holy shit. Those two kids in Pasadena are still missing. Those parents had better not have off'd their own fucking kids. I swear, I am thisclose to just starting to hunt people down and chop them up while they are alive.

I try to not think everyone is heinous and horrible, but every day, in the news is the proof that we are a sick sad bunch of people.

And why are a seven year old and toddler outside playing without adult supervision? Were the stories on TV just so damn compelling that day an adult couldn't have been outside with them?

Okay, they were last seen at 3:45 PM but not reported missing until 9:15 PM that night, almost SIX HOURS LATER. Can you imagine not knowing where Con was for six hours? As in, no clue, no idea, and you don't do ANYTHING?

Oh yes, I am suspicious of those parents. :(

I make Con call me when he gets to his volunteer job after he leaves the house and he is 14, 5'7, 153 lbs full of muscle, and will be in high school in 2 months, and in martial arts. no. I would never leave my toddler and 7 year old outside playing.

The dad was arrested and charged with capital murder this afternoon ... and the bloodhounds traced the scent of the little girl back to his apartment.

Ok ... now they are saying he has not been charged in the disappearance of the kids, just for assaulting his wife (not the mother of the kids). But, he made "multiple references" to the mother that the kids are dead and it's time to move on. The bloodhounds traced the scent of the little girl to the apartment and then to the parking lot.

They actually reported earlier that he had been charged with capital murder.

I used to live over on Burke. NO, you do NOT leave the kids unattended. They have arrested the father and he's facing charges of capital murder or is investigated for it, whatever. That makes it so much worse when it's the parent.

These stupid reporters can't seem to get the story straight and change it for every broadcast. Now they say the assault charge was for assaulting the mother of the kids, his estranged wife. Whatever. He was even trying to scrap with the reporters at one point. Those poor babies. What is it with all the parents killing their kids lately?

The part that always just kills me is (and no matter how hard I try, I cannot stop myself from imagining it) the last few moments on this planet, in that body, in this life, is the parent that they love and trust to care for them more than anyone else, is hurting them, breaking their heart, and scaring them. That is the last thing they experience.

I feel you. It kills me, too. The way people die matters to me and that has to be one of the worst. Just even imagining what it is like for these poor little kids makes me want to cry. I think about kids like the ones whose mother sent them into the lake in her car, how they must have looked at her... It's so incredibly vile.
