Bad Ike! Don't blow down my trees!

Again, I will say that we were incredibly fortunate compared to a lot of people in the path of Ike, but I have a few photos of the downed trees and power line in my back yard.

This was the tree that took out my drop line and cracked my pergola

This was my favorite tree that was also blown over so much that the roots were out of the ground. That is my swing in the background. Glad to see it was still in the yard.

Trees are at the wrong angle and shouldn't be coming through the top of my pergola

*sniffle* One tree gone.

Both gone and it is just freaking ugly. I am hoping when we get all our plants back around the porch, it will help. We have plans to plant more trees along the fence. Fruit trees.
