sereneorangeToday was productive. I got up early and we took the kid to his ADHD psychologist. We were an hour early ( sister wrote down wrong time in her Palm) so we drank coffee and ate kolaches in the hallway waiting.
We ran a million errands and I spent too much money but got a new bathing suit and a stunningly beautiful shirt 40% off. I also got new "cheeky" underwear, my favorite. I love those undies. *bouncy bouncy* for fun underwear. I got my prescription refilled and am back on Concerta, the medication I take for ADHD. Connor takes Adderral. I am freakishly calm for me. I like Concerta very much. It is the magic pill for me. I tried Stratera, and that is the pill from hell. I used to take Ritilin, but didn't like that very much. The intense 40 second headaches when it kicked in sucked, and I felt very un-me. But this pill is good. I am nicer on it, really helps with my impulse control problems. I probably should have gotten that RX filled and taken before shopping. I might not have not spent so much money.
It was so freaking hot today, I was able to take a nap which I cannot normally do when I am taking my meds.
Hopefully I will be productive tomorrow, though my plan is to spend the whole day in the pool.
My sister is out all weekend for her 20 year high school reunion. I am a very social person and this being home alone (or kid sleeping really . I am not alone) is killing me. I am so bored. Usually I go out and sister stays home. I am so excited for her though. She is having so much fun. She got to dress up and looked absolutely amazing when she left to go tonight.
I am taking her photos that she takes and setting them up in albums for her on Photobucket. com. I made her business cards to hand out to the rest of the people there with the web address for the photos (http://photobucket.com/albums/v433/Finijo/) and her email address so all her old friends can see the pics and keep in touch with her.
I can't wait till she gets home and fills me in with all the news.
