I have nothing to talk about today, so I am going to post pics of what we did to our dining room in our apartment a couple of years ago.
The dining room was ugly and outdated, and quite frankly we do not have enough room for all our stuff and a dining room. So, as much as we would like to have family dinner together every night, we need the space for other things. The room is where we have two of our book shelves, Connor's desk, his table to eat at,and since we have done this, two more bookshelves. Most of his toys go in here, and there is a Harry Potter Painting and a poster from the Ally's production of Little Shop of Horrors. Con has seen that play twice and loves it.
Those were what it looked like before
We used powdered tempra paint and some craft paint we had and plastic grocery bags to do the walls.
Then we added the curtain. it is made of 72 AOL cd's and we sat around painting them while watching TV for a few weekends. We drilled them and strung them with clear wire and hung them on a curtain rod Connor picked out. Kid has good taste.
