There is a distinct possibility that I broke my foot.

about 3 weeks ago.

I jumped from halfway down my stairs barefoot on the marble floor below to jump over the cats.
When I landed, I said, "Ouch." That felt weird

And it still hurts.

And is often swollen.

I think I will go get an xray on Thursday.

When I was a teenager, my mother broke her foot and walked around on it for 9 weeks before she went to the doctor to figure out why her foot had been hurting.

When I was 10-16, our house had motion sensors all over the first floor and the only TV with cable was of course, in the den downstairs. There was a motion sensor at the foot of the stairs that I could sometimes manage to evade, but since mom was hardly a morning person, I dared not attempt it on Saturday mornings just so that I could watch cartoons. So instead, I would climb up onto the balcony and jump down into the narrow hallway below. The hallway was narrow enough that I used to just "wall-crawl" down, but then mom start noticing hand prints on her white walls, so I took to just swooping down a la batman. Man, looking back, that movie should have come with some parental advisories... then again, I never injured myself, so I guess it couldn't have been that bad... :P

come on admit it, you and your son were playing super heros and did a leap over the cat..........had to be that, kinky sex would make a sore foot difficult to happen, of course my inocent bathtub fall and a broken rib had to be embelished here at work "I was having kinky circus sex in the shower, swinging from the shower bar i slipped and fell".....

ICE, ELEVATION, MOTRIN all will reduce pain and swelling until you can go to the doctor. Hope you get to feeling better.

i've heard it's very common to break a foot and not know it. i supposedly did it about a decade ago. walked to and from work everyday and had no idea! i hope yours heals up quickly!
