bush yes, his daughters no. I would think it distasteful to attack the family (especially when the kerry daughters havent been photo's drunk or flipping people off) instead of the candidate.

That is not really the point. The point of the whole thing was, how ridiculous it is to go beyond just having a passionate opinion about the people in office, or running for office and move on to making derogatory remarks about their families and children? Who with any kind of class does that. You or your friend even went as far as to call my 10 year old son gay! What the hell? Who does that?

I also thought it was a joke; I saw someone quote the "there's a difference between being black and being gay" a few days ago and assumed it was from a joke group.

It is kind of funny, though. Lots of Ayn Rand and "we don't care about anyone but ourselves" which, well, we already knew about Conservatives.
