Nov. 2nd, 2004 08:06 pmI need someone to enlighten me. This gay marriage thing. Why is it that anyone cares if they get married. I am not looking for an argument. I don't personally know anyone who is against same sex marriage, so I have no way of knowing what the rational is. So if there is anyone out there that can take the time to engage in respectful discourse about this, please respond.

Since I'm not a Christian, and I really don't know the Bible, so I'll have to take their word on the subject. Feh.

or
2) if we are going to recognize church marriages as legal, and a church chooses to sanctify a same sex marriage, then shouldn't the state have to recognize that as well?
