Connor seems to really be working on all circuits this morning. He is organizing and working with a steady  cadence.
I am certain it is some sort of trick. He keeps losing points on his work because he doesn't write his name.
 I have no idea how to get him into that habit. I am trying to break the habit he has of writing small and cramped on his schoolwork.
I heard my mother the other day, "Connor , I am not so poor I cannot afford to buy you a pack of paper. Write larger" I hate when I channel her.

Speaking of poor. I am not entirely sure how we are going to be swining christmas gifts this year.
Last year, we were done shopping by this time. We have not really started.
 We have two people less to shop for because they died on us last year. But they were two of my favorite people to shop for.

We are planning to make part of the gifts, the rest we will swing somehow.
 I would love to buy Connor gameboy games and really nice stuff, but wow, I don't see how that is possible right now.
Something will change. Something will happen I am sure.

I vote for moving Christmas into February this year. I have $6 in my checking account, and next week's paycheck is already spent on bills going out... December's not looking much better!

I'm doing the home-made thing too, but a month or two grace this year would be a big help. Or I need to clean out my closets and sell a bunch of junk on Ebay!!
