People who spray purfume or body spray in an office or any other
enclosed space should be beaten about the head.

There is  a woman
that sits behind me and although she is a sweet dear lady, is absentminded
as hell. If she had a brain she would take it out and play with it.

Remember that orange sawdust the janitor would sprinkle whenever
some little kid hurled on the carpet in elementary school? She has a room
freshner spray that smells just like that. So she sprays and I smell
unruly bastard vomit. I freak and she apologizes, then a few days later
does it again. She forgets every time.

There is always some cow
that has some overpowering purfume that is cheap and horrid, yet she
thinks she should walk around with a cloud of this funk circling her like
Pig Pen from Peanuts^TM.

   This funk gives me a headache,
makes my nose burn and makes me turn into a raging witch. If people care
at all for their lives and safety they will stop spraying
thier Shalimar in my vacinity.*cough*

Oy! I hate that as well! That's why I never go near a perfume counter in an upscale clothing store.

I remember one time when I was with a female friend that we walked by there and the lady behind the perfume counter just sprayed something (I don't remember what it was) right at my friend, and it made us both sneeze! Lest I say that we didn't stay in there long!

Y'know, I once got hit by a cologne sniper. I have a very senstive nose. I do wear cologne, but I don't bathe in it. Anyway, the person sniped me without my asking, I quickley reacted but going into an overdramatic fake asthma attack, complete with staggering about and flailing my arms, knocking non-breakable things off a nearby display. I gasped out something about being allergic and staggered out into the mall, out of site.

I'm guessing that the last time she sprayed someone without asking!

Just today I was standing near a lady when all of a sudden I coughed and got a headache just above my right eye -- THEN I smelled the perfume! It was so strong I had an immediate reaction, and when I left, my coughing and headache went away immediately.

And my allergies/asthma are sympathizing with you. Can you talk to the office manager? We had colognes and perfumes banned at one of my offices, and it was a beautiful thing.
