happy belated holiday

sereneorangeSweet Chocolate Christ my friends list is full of posting whores.
I am going through friends list for the first time Since Friday morning since we went to the beach house and there is no internet connection. I finally gave up when I had read 200 entries. Screw it. I am not going back any furthur.
I have pictures that I will be posting. I work up Christmas morning at 6 am and walked outside with my mouth hanging open. I have not seen real snow that stuck to the ground since I was 12 years old. I will be 34 in January. It was just insane looking to be looking at snow covered ground and palm trees and just a little furthur past, the Gulf of Mexico.
Connor has been wanting to see snow since he was a toddler, and was thrilled that he got to make snow balls. There are some years that we spend Xmas day in shorts. This was just odd.
It was a very nice and quiet holiday. My nephew never could get here because of the weather. I missed him terribly. We played cards and chatted.
We never made it to the beach itself, but was too cold to go very far from the door.
