Alright, I do not have 101 ways yet, but it
is an ongoing list. I had actually started this with my sister for my dog
when I was a child, but I forgot about it , and she is dead, so.....on to
a new list.

These are the current kitties being tortured at the
abu-gerber prison:

lenasaffie

Lena is the endless pit of need
given to my son for his 8th birthday. Saffie is the replacement kitty when
Diva died. Diva is now in a pretty box on the bookshelf in the form of
ashes so has escaped the torture. Saffie looked as dumb as a sock when we
got her. She turns out to be an amazing hunter and very soft and fun, so I
try to get over the fact that the nasty ball of fat leaves tribbles all
over my damn house.

Saffie, thanks to my sister, has developed an amusing
fear of quarters- not coins, just quarters. She is horribly uncouth
and sprawls about the house like this:

sprawl

That belly is begging to have a quarter dropped
on it from the sky, so Fini does that when she is not looking. She cannot
figure out where the quarters are coming from, so it freaks her out. Now
she just has to hear two quarters rub to gether, or spot one on the floor,
and she takes off. Zoom. I like to wait till she is dozing off, and just
as she is about to doze off, I jingle a couple of quarters. I am waiting
for the day she pulls a muscle popping up.

That fur is really fun
to stick things to. We have a ton of those jumbo lint rollers in the house
that have tape so we can continue to wear black and not have to get rid of
Saffie. Slapping one of those pieces of tape on the back of her front leg
or her shoulder blades, will keep me giggling for about 20 minutes.

Lena is easy. Ignore her. Don't pet her, hold your hand
near  her, but not touching her. That alone will
drive her insane. If you whistle, she goes goofy. I would think it hurts
her, but she flies at your head and begins rubbing. Maybe she likes it.
