A Banking Huh?

sereneorangeI was on the phone with a customer and was trying to verify her on her account. I told her I needed the date and the amount of the most recent deposit.
She gave me a deposit at the beginning of December. There have been several since. I explained that I needed the most recent one. Something since the last statement. She gave me the same one and said, "this is on my last statement. I said, "No ma'am. I need something since your last statement ended." She told me it was on the last statement *headdesk*
"Ma'am, since means after . I need a the last deposit posting to the account and it would be since the last statement." I said.
She responded, "Since when does Since mean after?!?!?!"
..........the hell?............
She did just use the word since in that question...
