Deliciously Gruesome
Mar. 21st, 2004 11:43 amI had a nice time with friends and coworkers last night celebrating Rosa and Steve's birthday at Kim Son's. The waitress was a giant ass who didn't know how to handle a big party (over 20 ppl) and in the end she kept reprinting tickets and rearranging the tickets until she was convinced we all owed about $40 dollars. (I had a wine $5 an appetiser $6 and a meal $8) I paid $20. Mine was about average, lowest was $6.25, highest was $25) Houston people...don't do large parties at Kim Son's. Food is amazing. Waitstaff is stupid as a box of rocks.
Saw Dawn of the Dead after the dinner. It was all I hoped it would be. It was very 28 Days Later, which I loved. There were so many people in the party that didn't want to go...all men. They are afraid of horror movies. I don't get that. How is it possible my balls are bigger than theirs. Hmmph. Steve was one. He was however cool enough to go and he enjoyed it. His wife Rosa was cool enough to not scream at him during the tense parts to freak him out. That was kind of her.
Gonna spend my day with the kid and watching movies.
