La Loca update
Aug. 16th, 2006 09:18 amAfter the eviction hearing last month, where La Loca was evicted, and the other neighbor was a childish ghoul enjoying La Loca's spiraling demise into madness and homelessness, and my sister's reluctant helpfulness in the case against La Loca, La Loca filed an appeal. She still lives there. She has been behaving for the most part.
Monday, when my sister came home from work, she could hear La Loca screaming and wailing in her apartment. She is Schizophrenic and often I can hear her yelling or screaming at the voices in her head. Why can't they at least have sweet voices that tell them happy thoughts and give them daily affirmations. Mental illness is so damn hearttbreakingly sad.
When Fini went to grab the mail, she heard La Loca's blinds slapping together as she was peaking on her.
Tuesday was the final hearing for the appeal. Fini is the only going as a witness for the management company. La Loca will certainly focus on Fini as the reason she is being evicted although we never filed a complaint. We just blogged them :D
The judge was an hour and a half late, took a 30 minute phone call, swore everyone in then told them they all HAD to come back tomorrow as he had a jury trial scheduled. What an ass.
I heard La Loca stamping around back and forth in front of our apartment.
Fini is back in court right this minute. I hope it goes well. I hope La Loca doesn't burn our apt down while we are visiting my father in the hospital after work. I hope the house passes inspection this Saturday. I am excited and exhausted just thinking about moving into our house in a months time and being deeply in debt for the next 30 years.
