and that is saying something coming from a person that cannot really cook.

Alright.. this is what we had when we bought the house.

We had a home warranty and when Fini decided she couldn't take her delicious cooking being burned anymore, I dug up the number and made a claim online. After Fini dealt with them, this is what we ended up with

I didn't get the whole oven in the pic, but it is a double oven. The top window under the range is a small oven, and right below it, out of the frame, is the larger oven door. The microwave hood arrived today. We get to give away our beloved high tech microwave but gain a coffee station :)

I shall bake something tomorrow. Let's hope it goes well.

Facon!

Okay, so I don't eat meat. October will be 12 years without the meat. I use meat substitute for my protien. I LOVE Morningstar brand corndogs, so I thought I would try their "bacon strips"

Odd. Really freaking odd. I liked it. I will eat it again, but they are freaky.

The instructions said to microwave until crisp. I picked them up and couldn't fathom them getting crisp. They felt like those sheets of foam that are used for crafts in school

That is not fat, so yeah.. they are going to come out that shape and color

Those are crisp. I swear. I snapped them into smaller pieces and made a BLT.  I did like the taste. I ate 2 slices plain. The house smells sort of  like bacon.

Yipee! A website to tract the mortgage companies that are going under

Fabulous. Now I have something to watch and obsess over. Wonderfully enough, while other states and title companies struggle, we are still growing and making money. Go US!

Woot! we got the new stove with the home warranty and yesterday I dropped my beloved Shiny and broke the main screen inside.

I had insurance on it. I did the claim inline yesterday and faxed in my affidavit, and tomorrow I will have a new Shiny delivered to my office. The replacement cost is $50, but considering it was a $400 phone, that seem fair.

This is the second time I had to replace it. I asked Voldemort to hold it for me once when we were out (was too lazy to carry my purse around) and his keys cracked the front screen.
