11 hours of bliss

I have had little sleep this week. It has made me very cranky. Last night I slept 11 hours. I must have needed it. I am glad because I can be alert enough to spend the day with my family and go out tonight without falling asleep on anyone.

Connor is watching the Naruto set that onnotangu sent to him. Connor is in heaven. (He will write you a thank you note soon, Sean)

I feel like a slacker for not going into work for more OT and to help get the files out, but when I went in last Saturday, I went in angry. I didn't want to be there. I was resentful and cranky, and that cannot be good for me, for my family, or for my work. I was obviously getting burnt out and a full 2 day weekend will do me a world of good I think.

Lena the cat was home when I got home last night. They ended up having to do both her paws since it seemed like there was some growth in the other one as well. I honestly had no idea that cat claws could grow back if they didn't get every last bit out of there. I feel bad for poor Lena. She is walking gingerly and still looked a little high last night.

Roachford? I LOVED this song. Was impossible to not get up and dance around my living room or bedroom, band hall, choir room, etc. . . like a fool...jumping around, arms outstretched, spinning, mouth open and singing. LOVED this song.





about 5 years ago, I was delighted to find them still making music.





I cannot find a good video of "Only 2 be With U" (my favorite) but "Ride the Storm" is pretty damn brilliant
