Ouchie that I didn't see coming
Sep. 21st, 2007 08:28 amI was sitting on the couch watching tv with Connor and Fini last night. Fini's phone rang and she picked it up. She said, "Hi Linda!"
For a brief second or two, I thought it was my sister Linda. She died in 2003. When it hit me that it wasn't her, it hit really hard. I miss her so much.
Connor found me crying in my bedroom. He asked what was wrong. All I could get out was, "Fini said, "Hi Linda. . " and he walked up and gave me a hug and let me cry on his shoulder. He is such a sweet, thoughtful kid. He has a lot of Linda in him.
