It's not a TOO-mah!
Apr. 30th, 2008 01:13 pmor maybe it is.
I am on day 6 of a headache. Yesterday, it got bad enough I cried. I then picked up the phone and made a Dr. appt for this morning. It is the top of my head, about 3 1/2 " long and 1 1/2 " wide. It never moves. It never goes away and my hair hurts. If I touch my hair or the wind blows it, the follicles over that headache area hurts really bad. Sinus meds don't effect it, and motirn and Tylenol take it down for a while, but it just comes back just as hard.
Saw the doctor this morning. She went over family and personal medical history. When I mentioned the tumor I had behind my eye and my sister dying of brain cancer, her eyes bugged. I laughed and said, "aren't you supposed to NOT do that so you don't scare me?"
She did a couple of tests there for signs of stroke or tumor. Nothing. I apparently have no reflexes though. Is that bad? That was the only thing that didn't work. I could do all the touching my nose and pulling and pushing with arms and legs.
She gave me a shot of immitrex and a shot of torodol. I thought I wasn't going to sleep. WRONG. I had a nice $25 hour and a half nap. I called Tiffany at work to come pick me up and take me to work.
I feel high. I am incredibly relaxed. I still have a slight headache and my hair still hurts.
I have a CT Scan scheduled for next Tuesday.
I leave you with this.
