Headache day 6

So I got the shots of Immitrex and Tordol today and slep 1.5 hours at the doctor's office today.

Then I tried to work for a few hours. I went home at 4 PM because everyone kept telling me I looked stoned.

Quite frankly, I was stoned.

I slept from 4:30 to 8:30.

Guess what I had waiting for me when I woke up?


You guessed it. A headache. Tylenol makes it tolerable. It will have to tide me over until the CAT scan on Tuesday and the results.

I seriously empathize - being prone to migraines and sinus headaches. Six days would have me drilling holes in my head or scoring heroin. Hopefully, they'll find a better solution for you.

I hate migraines...there's nothing like trying to hold your eyeballs in your heard while you puke from the pain.

Feel better soon...I'd offer a big hug, but it would probably make you feel worse...so I'm sending wishes for a nice, quiet, cool, dark room, and quick relief.

Oooohhhhh, sinus? Allergies? Tension? Besides headache pain, what other symptoms? Where is the pain? Dull, stabbing, throbbing?

Here I go playing nurse again. They did a CT? Keep me updated, there are many causes of headaches, from strained neck and shoulder muscles to much more serious things...which we won't talk about. :D I'll pray you get relief soon, most headaches make me sick, but my migraines make me wish I had a gun sometimes.

It is a headache in one spot 3/12" by 1/12" on the top right side of my head. it never moves. It occasionally throbs. Aleve, Motrin, Tylenol, etc all lessen the pain, but it doesn't go completely away. The hair follicles right above that spot hurt and when I touch my hair, or the wind blows, it hurts.

The CT Scan is scheduled for Tuesday AM. Until then, I shall pop pain relievers until it goes away or my liver fails.

I get headaches like that on occasion, but I don't think I've ever had one last that long. Anyone mentioned trigeminal neuralgia or doloreaux? It could be neuralgia affecting a nerve other than the trigeminal nerve also

Day 6?! Wow, I probably haven't had 6 headaches since the turn of the millennium.

Bless your heart. I hate headaches so much. I get them all the damn time. I have very sensitive sinus cavities that react to changes in barometric pressure, so I totally understand.
In fact I feel one coming on today.

Wow. Immitrex is all it takes for me. There's only been one time it didn't work. That stuff changed my life very literally. Let us know how it goes. That's crazy to have to endure that sort of pain.
