I have a vegweb feed on my LJ flist. I sometimes see recipes that I think I can handle. I will certainly be making these!

Vegan Chocolate Salty Balls

Ingredients (use vegan versions):

vegan chocolate chips (or chocolate bar, or other source of vegan chocolate)
peanut butter
sunflower seeds (or other nut/seed)
powdered sugar or dry vegan cookie mix (optional)

Directions:

These can be easily made from the comfort of your ovenless dorm room. They are easy, vegan, bakeless, and delectable.

Mix your desired amount of peanut butter and sunflower seeds together in a bowl. Spread out some powdered sugar or cookie mix (I used Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookie mix, it is vegan and if you have an oven, soy margarine and egg substitute can yield you delicious Ghirardel...

Pup update

Dog's (I am not naming it- I will get attached)Aunt Robyn stopped by yesterday and brought him a few toys. He LOVES his squeaky bone. Dog went to the vet. Appears to be about a year old. Maybe a lab/ dobie mix. Won't get much bigger. Is 27 lbs.

Has heartworms.

Crap. I will take him this afternoon for a snap test to see if the worms are adult or baby. Then we will know if it will be the expensive treatment or the oh-my-god-can-I-pay-my-mortgage treatment.*sigh*

He is just the sweetest thing. He never jumped at the other animals. He didn't bark. He was well behaved in the car. He is house trained, neutered, and just sweet as pie. I can't wait to find him a good home. He needs someone who will give him the hugs he demands. Seriously, early this morning, I let him out in the back yard and sat on the swing. He wouldn't go potty until we had some hug time. Silly boy.
