Connor and Puberty

sereneorangeConnor is so damn funny. I picked him up from the YMCA Friday and while we were waiting, I noticed a blemish on his forehead (the kind that would go completely away if you were to wash your face or rub it or something).
I said, "Con, you have a zit my dear." and he said, "WHAT?!" He drew his knees up to his chest and wrapped his arms around them and stuck his thumb in his mouth and began rocking back and forth, muttering, "no...puberty...no...puberty....no..."
I fell out laughing. I asked why he was so afraid of puberty and he said, "Because you get zits and hair everywhere." Luckily for him, I was neither prone to breakouts or extreem hair. I think I had a total of 15 zits my whole puberty. His father may have had more, I don't know, but so far he looks like me, so maybe he will have my skin.
He said he did have one hair already. I said, "Did? Where is it now?" He plucked it. The boy plucked his first pube. I asked if it hurt. He said it did. I asked if was going to continue this plucking, because that is going to really fucking hurt after a while. He then drew his knees up to his chest again, and wrapped his arms around them and stuck his thumb in his mouth and began rocking back and forth, muttering, "no...puberty...no...puberty....no..."
