sereneorangeOn Saturday, I was trying to get out of work in time to go to Passover Dinner and my friend Jay said, "You're Jewish?" Now, we have discussed religion before. He knows I am Buddhist. I said, "Noooooooooooo..... I have friends that are. My father is, too."
He asked, "Gerber is a Jewish name?" I said, "I dunno. It is a German name."
He said, "Oh yeah. Jews come from Germany."
Yeah, Jay, they wandered the German desert for 40 years.
