Hit me baby, One more time!

Wang Chung doing "Hot in Here" by Nelly. Oh my goodness!  I was so giddy. They rocked the hell out of that song.

Sophie B. Hawkins. Hrm. It took me a minute to figure out what song of hers she was singing and it is not like she had a lot of hits. Then it took me the entire contemporary song that she sang to figure out it was a Coldplay song. Perhaps if she tried singing on key, it wouldn't be such a puzzle. That was such a dissapointment. I really like Sophie.

Cameo did Bowling for Soup's 1985...eh.. pretty good

Words cannot express my love for Howard Jones. His voice was so beautiful when he did "Noone is to Blame" stunning. Then he did Dido's "White Flag" Gorgeous. Delicious. Wonderful

Irene Cara's voice was even weaker than it used to be when she sang "Fame". She did start bouncing around and being cute, so she at least had that. She followed up with some song by Anistasia...did nothing for me. The chicks backing her up were pretty good. Much better than her. How she won is beyond me. Her winnings went to Women in Arts, Inc.

Oh man am I jealous. I would have loved to see Wang Chung, Howard Jones, and even Cameo. Irene Cara, not so much. Was this on TV? Did I miss a major television event? (I gots no cable).

FYI- It wasn't Coldplay, it was Five for Fighting and it sucked ass. Wang Chung did indeed rock the Nelly, and Howard Jones made me weak in the knees as he always has. Cameo, meh. Irene Cara sucked and I'm cranky Howard didn't win it!
