Proletariat

I need to start taking the camera with me when I go out.
I went to the Proletariat last night with my friend, Rachelle.
First we went to Pa Tu's and she treated me to a scrumptious Thai dinner. I mostly felt like sleeping afterwards, but we had other plans.
I walked up to the bar ready for another sucky music Saturday. Luckily I was wrong.We walked in while Svengali was playing. They were good.- kind of an 80's feel.



 and then Hardin Store Road.

meh...they were okay. The blond guy on the leftish side was amusing.


It ended with a band called Pale


I really enjoyed Pale. Didn't see anyone there selling Cd's and I did go ask for one, so I will just have to look for them coming by again. The guy sang in this falsetto the whole time, but it was not really sounding falsetto. It was nice.

The bartenders were hilarious. Ryan is the adorable little thing you just want to pinch, he is so cute.He reminds me of Justin from Queer as folk, but smaller. Michael, the big angry bartender put ice down Ryan's pants. in one smooth move, Ryan punched Michael in the nuts and Michael went off into the corner to cry I am assuming. His face was all contorted with pain when he finally came back up which was after Ryan had pulled down his pants and removed the ice. Some guys were gawking at him in his bikini briefs, so he yelled, "The show isn't free Muthafuckers!" That boy cracks me up. Michael recovered enough to leave and go nurse his wounds in the restroom for about 20 minutes.

Damian kept working, never missed a beat.

I really thought Michael was going to kick him some tiny gay boy ass, but after he yelled about his nuts for a while they were both laughing again. Again nothing. Ryan has balls...never backed down.

Had fun. Good night.

oh, and sea breazes are yummy.

My buddy Charlie is the guy on the far left in Hardin Store Road. I still have yet to see that band. Pale has been around for a long time and I've heard great things about them. I can't rememeber if I'd actually seen them, myself or not.

Yeah, I usually try to carry my digital camera with me but it seems like when I do haven't I don't it... But when i don't, I do! Bleh. Sorry of my life! haha
