Honestly, if you're so concerned with current events rather than American Idol, you should maybe try voicing your own thoughts and ideas instead of channeling your inner 13 year old valley girl and saying the equivalent of "omigaw! did you like hear what she just said?! I can't believe it! it's like, so heinous!!" Surely you're capable of more than just pointing the finger at others' shortcomings?

I honestly didn't think many people put much weight in anything she said. She's, what, 80 years old? The woman's probably going senile if she isn't already. I doubt many people care what others think when they get to be that age.

My grandmother was sharp and brilliant into her 90's. I won't be. Dementia runs in my family I beleive. I had read in a conservative blog that Some say Dubya used to be much more articulate when he was gov. and are speculating that he is showing early signes of senility.

when i worked at barnes and noble near the galleria i would hear stories from my co-workers who had been there a long time talk about when she would come into the store (cause she lived close to there or something).
