I left work yesterday and when I sat down to wait for the train there were these two sketchy looking dudes across the tracks. There were just leering at me. One was this freakishly tall white guy with a tan so dark it made his light blue eyes look like they were glowing earily from across the street. The other was this little skinny skinny black man who had so little fat on his body, his skin looked stretched and shiny across his bones. They were both uber creepy...and just stared for so damn long. I was glad when the train came.
When I ride the train, I sleep. Every time. So I am sitting there, eyes closed, having a light nap with my head on my hand and I hear.
"Crack Crack!" Gunshots. I open my eyes and instead of the train doors slowly closing, they seemed to slam shut and the train lurched forward quickly leaving that station.
I looked around. Noone else acted like they heard it. I looked at the woman across from me and asked, "Did that sound like gun shots to you?" She replied, "Yeah, but that was outside, not in here."

oh, well, okay. (?!!?!) Maybe I have bee nout of the hood for too long, but I hear gunshots, I get a little spazzy.

I was awfully grateful to get home. And lock the doors. And hook the door chain.

The two dudes were with our visitors from Louisiana. I have no idea who shot the gun .It has been so long since I heard a gun shot.

Now that's bad. Like because it didn't happen in there, no one was really concerned. That makes me feel sad. Where is the humanity?

Holy crap....even though we've had a few shootings over here, it still unsettles me to hear that, too. Glad you made it home safe & sound!
