Odd dreams lately. There was the one where the bartender from the Proletariat killed Connor and I with his roving gang of thugs, and then we were not dead and he was trying to get me to follow him. I kept telling him, "No. You are cruel. I do not trust you. You will hurt Connor and I again. You are trying to kill us"

Then there was the dream that I was cooking (that would be a nightmare) and I was in the house that I grew up in. I caught a mouse in the cupboard with a plastic grocery bag, but he was really strong and I was afraid I would get bitten. I took it out to the garage to try to set it free (out in the field across from our house) but he was struggling. I started to press my thumb on his head to break his neck but he was too strong and I didn't want to do that. Then I started to bang his head against the side of the garage trying to kill it. It didn't work and I woke up. (I was seriously grossed out. I do not even kill bugs. I try to catch them in a cup and take them outside.) All day long I felt so bad and disgusted about the trying to kill a mouse.

In the mouse dream, there was also a part where this man I barely know that works with me broke into my sister's friend's house to drink beer and have a poker party in the back yard. There were video cameras and he was caught. Odd. '

I am not sleeping well. I think I need a new mattress. Maybe I can get one in March. I have been searching the har.com website looking for houses and townhomes in Houston. we are not yet ready to buy, which I guess is good, because the lowest price I could find for an area I am willing to live in for a 3 bedroom is $145,000.00 and I don't really like that one anyway. *sigh*

freeky dreams?? try this one: you're out in a field looking at a huge mountain range.
you watch as a meteor half as big as the moon strikes on the opposite side of the mountains.
you just know that that whole half of the country and all those people are toast.
--[and you "feel" the gravity of it in the dream]
As soon as the horror of it sinks in, that meteor bounces up and comes over the mountain range straight at you.

gack!!!

I have had one or two where I wake up and can barely breathe they were so terrifying, but none lately. I actually did a phone post half asleep one night narrating my dream, because I was afraid I would forget it like I do almost all of my dreams.

..record your dreams or not...either way, when the downer types hit ya, do what you can to blot 'em out and forget them.
don't give them brain time....in my younger days, I would hold on to the memory of those and it would keep me in a downer mood for a day or two.
Some brain/psyche researchers lately have been saying that weather can play a part in disturbing dreams and depression.......Some folks who live in areas that don't get much sun and in humid climates are prone to a higher rate of depression and/or disturbing dreams .........how's your AVERAGE weather been laely?

I like to try to figure out what my subconscience is trying to tell me. Often it is something I need to work through. Then everything is a lot better.

This has been one heck of a week for dreams.
on top of a couple of nice romantic type dreams, there was that meteor dream and now THIS one:
it happened about 3 hours ago.
I'm standing under an overpass.
out in front of me there's rays--[like light beams]--filling my line of site.
people, hundreds and hundreds are floating upwards in these beams, upwards on and on till they are out of sight overhead in these beams.
----------
you mentioned emotion was attatched to some of your dreams.
this dream had a very joyful emotion attatched to it.
