We got a form to fill out last week to evaluate ourselves. I filled mine out and turned it in right away. I was the first person to get a review today. It went well.

The lower the score the better. Worst possible score is a 24. The best is a 6. I gave myself a 16, but Glen gave me an 11. He told me I was too hard on myself.

He said I am his person to focus on in the department I am in because he sees the most potential out of me.  At the end of the review he had to look for something to tell me to work on to be hard on me. Took him a while, then he came up with, "Don't  always try to be super woman. It is okay for you to delegate some of your work to others. In fact, I want you to because it will increase their productivity and make them work outside of the box they have themselves in. "

I guess there are much worse things I could have heard for criticism. Unfortunately, this is not the first job where that has been brought up in the review. I should really start working on that, no?

Quite a difference from a few years ago when you were working for Chase, eh?

Groovy. I had to write mine and I was alot harsher than needed to be. turns out I was getting glowing reviews from my customers and I didn't even know it.

Deligation of duty makes sure everyone is supposed to be doing what they are getting paid for.
