I don't care who sings it, I like it, period. :P~ Unfortunately it was almost ruined for me by the fucking Mexican mariachis at my grandmother's funeral...it was really, really shitty version and doesn't deserve the Mexican strings at all. X_X
You know I wanted to be an opera singer when I was little? But then again, I wanted to do many things. I did learn to mimic the operatics that were of Looney Tunes variety (there's one oldie where Bugs disturbs the living crap out of a fat opera singer...I got pretty good at singing that poor guy's part XD!)
Of course now whenever I try to practice any singing the black cat (Boo) gets in my face and purrs (she loves my terrible singing for some reason >___>).
I really wanted to be in the Houston Grand Opera. I worked toward it for 5 years, realized I didn't have the chops for it and decided I wanted to be a Jazz singer.
