Ten Happy Things In my Life Right Now:

1. Wonderful family. I have a dwindeling family (that happens as you age) but I am so grateful for the family I have and how loved I feel.

2. Job that I love. My job is challanging, interesting (I don't care what my sister says) and the pay is pretty nice. I have friends there ( some I have known for years) and it is a nice little second family. There is a wonderful ability to grow and advance and I enjoy my work.

3. Cats. Three of them. They are all different and all hilarious and sweet in their own way. They are healthy and always amusing. Unlike Connor, they let me take as many photos as I want.

4. Hilarious son. After 13 years of having Fini and I give him atomic wedgies on a regular basis, he got Fini tonight. She was laughing so hard, she got light headed. It was great.

5. Friends- I have not just a few close friends, I have a lot. I also have friends that I don't count as terribly close, but are always about when I need them. There is never a time that I don't have somone I can call on, and often, I don't even have to ask. I have friends that call on me. That lets me know that I am needed and respected as someone that can be available for good advice and a shoulder to cry on or an ear when needed.

6. My house. I love my house. It is OURS. We own it. It is spacious, light, comfortable. We have room and extra bed for people to visit us. (Hint hint to family out of state)

7. My yard is lush. It can get over grown, but between us and our lawn guy, we stay on top of it for the most part. There are 2 blue jays, a boy and a girl cardinal, countless doves, an abundance of butterflies, the occasional opossum, and a whole army of squirrels that live in our back yard. Our cats finally figured out what is out there, and they now have a big screen tv in our large windows in the room that looks out into the back yard.

8. Live in the US. I love this country like a mother loves her children. I see all the good things and am so proud of it, and I see it for its faults and love it anyway. I want to travel, but always want to call the US home.

9. Health- I could take better care of myself, that is for sure, but I am strong and relatively healthy and I am grateful.

10.Books. We have a ton and when we run out, there is always bookstores and libraries.
