32 hours is for the birds

I like over time. I like my job. This being cut back to 32 hours a week until at LEAST March 1st bites. I can deal with less money. I am impressed that my company took it upon themselves to check with TWC and find that we can get some of our missing hours back through unemployment. I had no idea that was even an option. They are filing the forms for us. I am sure they will have to pay more in unemployment insurance.

I hope this company survives this market slowdown. I really like working for it, and I HATE job searching.

I am sure I can find chores and projects around the house to fill my extra day off, but I really wish I could work instead.
