I am officially a bad mother

So Connor sees the book this morning in his chair (see previous posts) and stil says nothing but hides it again. We have not yet found it.
He checks his email. Asks suspiciously if we wrote to an author telling him that he was a fan. We played stupid.
He has now written the fake email back. He was really excited that a real author wrote him. God I am a sick bitch.

how about this: make a fake yahoo account and e-mail your son that way? i don't know if that's adding more butane to the inferno... but, maybe it can be a band-aid as well?

So far I see this as a pretty harmless fun thing to do. You haven't crossed any lines yet, but you still suck. Which in some respects, is pretty cool.
