I am proud of you too, as a former nail biter I know it is hard to quit. I always know that I am stressed I revert back to it a little. It is totally worth it! OH and btw, I love the eyeshadows! I got them the other day
Years ago when I finally stopped biting mine, the thing that helped me most was to constantly manicure my nails. Every night I would take off polish and put on new polish, moisturize, all the bells and whistles. It let me focus on my nails in a positive way and when they were polished I was less likely to bite and pick them. I also always carried an emery board and would smooth them whenever I felt like picking/biting.
Good luck! It's hard to do! Even now, all these year later, if I break a nail, I want to start biting it and I have to put a band-aid around the tip of my finger until it grows out enough that the temptation is gone.
my sister also told me about the constantly carrying clippers/ files. That is helping a great deal. I keep clear or colored polish on. It is nice to look down and see nicely manicured hands as opposed to the mangled mess that was there before.
