so this year I forgot to get my flu shot

I was kind of hoping my hand washing and sanitizer use would keep me from getting sick.

I don't know if this is the flu, but something is definitely amiss.

I don't have a nasty cough yet, but there is some coughing and drainage. My head is KILLING me. My eyes hurt. My neck hurts. My body aches. The chills are un freaking real. Oh my god there is nothing I can do to get warm enough.

I hope this is not the flu. I haven't had it since I was a child, but I do recall it being a horrible pain in the ass.

Had a similar experience recently after the kiddo got sick with full-blown flu. Luckily, I never got truly sick. Here's hoping you dodge the bullet...

You haven't had the flu since you were a child? The mind boggles. I haven't had my flu bout this year yet but I don't think a year of my adult life has gone by where I didn't spend two or three days on my back knocked out with the flu.

I have a fairly good immune system. I have brought things home for my sister, but I haven't actually gotten sick from.

it is. I am starting to feel better, though
