I love my front lawn at night; especially when it has just been cut.



We need the flowers in the back yard to bloom. There haven't been any fresh flowers in the house for months and I don't feel like going and buying any. There were a bunch of little pink roses, but when I finally remembered to go cut them for the vase, the blooms were gone.

Con put out the squirrel feed this morning and we have doves, blue jays, grackles, and squirrels feasting and fighting on our back porch. The cats are standing inside the french doors looking out and chattering and wishing they could have a bite of birdie or squirrel.

I got up and scrubbed the kitchen before the housekeeper came. She is slow and it saves us money if we are cleaning at the same time. Plus it makes us not such lazy bastards.

I need to clean my room (I don't like anyone else doing it). I haven't given it a GOOD cleaning in about a month. I have a ton of laundry to do as well.

Then I am going to sleep and read. Maybe watch some more of the movies I have recorded off of TMC.

I have lots of gray snow in the front and yellow snow in the back. Oh how I miss home. I can't wait to get back.

It's called "reality snow" and never makes it onto post cards. Approximately 1 hour after newly fallen, beautiful snow, it is all plowed up with dirt and grime from the street. Then the exhaust emissions kick in, too. So we have plowed up piles of gray and black snow all along the sides of the streets. The back is yellow because not only does Ripley pee everywhere but I dogsitted a pit bull for a week and she peed everywhere else. It's ugly. I want your lush yard. Like now.
Sometimes I think if I could find a deal of a job like I have hear, I'd sell this place and leave Jason. I miss my gorgeous yards.
