sereneorangeWent out for my friend Lorenzo's annual birthday bash. This year we went to The Bombay Brasserie in Rice Village. Still my favorite Indian food restaurant in Houston. I heart them so much. There was about 20 people at the table. I love his dinners because I get to meet some really cool people. I had great conversations with people that I may never see again, or I may see again next year, or maybe before then. Lorenzo is just such a sweet wonderful man. I love him and his boyfriend, Bryan. There was another vegetarian there (yay) and she and I did the dinner for two. It had all my favorite foods. I had left overs for breakfast this morning.
Afterwards, Lorenzo, my friend Jose, their friend Josephine and I went to The Big Easy Social Club and talked, had a beer, and listened to Tony Vega band. I haven't seen Tony Vega in YEARS. He is still amazing. I was sad to hear that he is living in Austin now working as a carpenter and music seems to be more of a side thing. He really is wonderful. It was a very cool night.
