Introducing Wiggington Weslayan a/k/a Wiggy

Connor went to the Astros game tonight with Matt and David tonight. When Matt and David were almost on on Weslayan Street, David spotted what he thought was a piece of paper until he saw her head move. They jumped out and scooped her up. They called us because she wasn't drinking the milk they offered her. Matt and Dave came back with Wiggy to be nursed until we either get her ready for the shelter, find her a home, or decide to keep her.

Karen and Con washed her and got the fleas off. David helped kill the fleas, too. They brought some food for her to eat and she did eat it. That is good. We are concerned she is feral and might have distemper, so we are keeping her away from the other kitties. They are curious though. Saffie and Wiggy had a little hissing fight through the mesh on the carrier. She is a scrapper, but we are hoping not too much that she can't stay here or is unadoptable. She mostly looks like she just needs a really long nap.

She is awfully lucky that David and Matt came to her rescue. She was in the middle of the Weslayan Street which is pretty busy.

We decided on Wigginton Weslayan since she was found after an Astros game with Wigginton and she was found on Weslayan Street,

Also, she looks like she is wearing a toupe.


EDIT: Good girl!!! Karen put her in the cat box and she peed , pooped, and covered them up!She meowed to be let out of it, and hissed at Karen when she picked her up

Indeed, she is mighty cute. Though I agree; sometimes I get distemper if I don't have a really good nap! I second another poster and say that I hope you can keep her.

That kitten is SO ADORABLE.

I would get her her tests and shots ASAP. Make sure she is FeLuek negative...that (and Feline HIV) is the most important test. FeLeuk is evil and can hurt the other cats. Other than that...she is SO cute. >______>

You're going to want to get her treated for kitten worms, and tape worm ASAP. If she's had fleas, she probably has tape worm, and that's really bad for kittens; trust me, I just got rid of them with my kitten. My older cat, Ra, had them when I adopted her flea bitten ass too.
