I am down 13 lbs in 2 weeks. I am still having VERY limited caffeine and processed sugar (as compared to before). I eat very little bread, and I feel so much better! My pants are all longer because my butt and tummy are shrinking. My legs are thinner. I have a lot more energy. I don't spend all day yawning anymore.

My blood sugar is not all over the place anymore. I went 23 hours between meals the other day (not on purpose, just happened that way) and I had no headaches, no shaking, no nausea, no brain fog, and I didn't pass out. I was just really damn hungry by the time I got around to eating.

I got up this morning and since it was early and still relatively cool, I had a nice walk from Beechnut to Braeswood and back (about 1.4 miles) Nice way to start the day.

We met the Barron/ Arouty clan for brunch at my favorite place to eat in Houston, Baba Yaga's Restaurant, to celebrate David's High School Graduation. It was nice seeing everyone. The brother and sisters are having babies and there were some fabulous, well behaved small children in that family.

Tomorrow is meditation at Dawn Mountain then some home time before David's graduation. I am going to get weepy. Love that guy. Can't really call him a kid anymore.

Yay! Congrats on the loss! I'm glad you're feeling better also. Keep it up!

I get so frustrated sometimes. I went and had Mexican food last night with my kids for the first time in six months and I'm retaining about 3 lbs of fluid because of all the salt. :P

Mmmmm. I didn't even know Baba Yaga's was still open. I guess I should have. Love that place.
Congrats on the weight loss! That's pretty amazing.
